ADOPT-A-PATH
This October, Neil Cummins Brownie and Daisy Troop 31438 kicked off their school’s Adopt-A-Path program by cleaning up all the trash along and near the paths around and through Neil Cummins. Over a period of several hours, the troop and troop family members collected 20 large garbage bags full of styrofoam cups, plastic and glass bottles, juice pack straw covers and other yucky stuff. The biggest culprit was lunch stuff— empty chip bags, juice pack straw covers, zip lock bags and drink bottles and cans.
