Guidelines for troop websites
Troop Leaders: In order to maintain our reciprocal link
with the Council website, all third party links (i.e. Troop websites)
must also adhere to Council guidelines. Below are some of the particular
guidelines that need to be followed. Please be sure you follow these
on your own sites, if you want to be linked here.
- Use only the first names of girls
- Never post addresses, phone numbers or email addresses of girls
- Always obtain WRITTEN parental permission for all pictures of girls
used on your website. In addition, written permission must be obtained
for all pictures of ADULTS on your website.
- Never list addresses of troop meeting places or the dates and times
of meetings (date/time OR place can be posted, but not both).
